Our ethos is Sport for All – which means every child gets the chance to represent the school competitively.
Training begins in Nursery with ball skills and swimming and it’s not long before the Prep School children are competing against local Prep and Primary schools and further afield.
Our main competitive sports are rugby, netball, hockey, cricket and rounders but, as you will see from the list below one peg doesn’t fit all; therefore it’s important for children to be introduced to a wide-range of sports so they can discover what it really is that they are good at.
Our children enjoy the use of 25 acres of specially built sports fields, a brand new all-weather pitch, a sports hall, two swimming pools and a soon-to-be-built cricket pavilion.
Our Pre-Prep enjoy three hours of sport a week; in the Prep School this increases to five hours a week, but most children choose to extend their favourite sports from our the extensive co-curricular provision.
